New challenges for Jonathan
After 15 very happy years at Newman Watters, Jonathan has new challenges ahead, working with conservation in South America. I have many fond memories of Newark and would like to thanks every last client and pet for making my time here so enjoyable. I leave you with our fantastic team of vets and nurses, who will continue to provide the same excellent standard of care as always. I will be keeping in touch through Facebook :D xoxo

Award!
Remember that 10 years on, we are still the only practice in the area with the prestigious RCVS award. The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons inspects us regularly, to ensure our standards are high. We are very proud of this accreditation - nobody else locally has achieved it :-)

Fun Day :-) August 21st
Come to our Fun Day, Sunday August 21st from 10.30 to 3 pm. We have lots of fun events - face painting, a dog show, professional pet photography, a craft corner and a chance to have a good nosey around the practice :) We would love to see you here. All the team at Newman Watters

Easter opening hours
Our pets don't always stick to 'routine' hours to get poorly or need attention, so we are open as usual over Easter. We are here all day Good Friday and easter Monday too, so pop in if you need anything. Have a great Easter!

A better deal for cats
We do everything we can to keep visits as stress-free as possible for cats. As part of this process, we have appointed a brand new Cat Ambassador in the form of Kelly. She is working her way through the practice, improving our protocols and looking at things with fresh eyes from a feline point of view. This should give great results for your pets :-)

Christmas and New Year :-)
Even at the busiest times, we know that you need to get hold of us if something happens to your pet. We are open throughout the Christmas period as normal, including Saturday 26th and all day on Monday 28th. On Christmas Day itself, and New Year's Day, the surgery will be closed but with the usual emergency cover. Have an amazing Christmas and New Year and thanks to everyone for their support in 2015. Cat waiting area
We are sorting a new cat waiting area to keep our feline patients stress free. We ran a competition on Facebook for the new signage and Pepsi was the winner!

Extended opening times :-)
Over the last few months, we have been trialling early opening. We have always consulted from 9 am and until 6.30 pm, but we appreciate that it can still be difficult to fit in visits with your pet around everything else. A few years ago, we started all-day consulting - unique in the area - and now we have a vet on site every working day from 8 am. If you need advice, or an early appointment, then there will be a vet here as well as our excellent team of nurses. And unlike most practices, coming...
